what is it with this time of year that makes people behave so weird?

People should not light christmas lights until after thanksgiving. Idon't care if you put them up just dont light them yet, besides your electrical bill is more when you do. Christmas music should not be played in stores until after thanksgiving as well. Sometimes I think that people want to skip right over thanksgiving I like thanksgiving it should have its time of cheer after halloween and before christmas not just thrown in there and people only remember cause they dont have to go to work. Its sad and it makes me wonder whats going through peoples minds to want to get to christmas sooner, cause half the time people forget why we celebrate christmas at all. And it makes me feel bad for our older brother than not only he had to die for us but that the day that is set aside for it is to wrapped up in presents and songs and lights that we forget the best present anyone could ever give us and that is eternal life. And so your not all going to be at my thanksgiving table this year I want to tell you what im thankful for: Christ and his love for us, My family even though they can get on my nerves, My friends cause theyre the best anyone could ever hope for, Puppies cause theyre just so funny, The church and the way it is run to help me better understand the precious and simple truths Ive come to love, And im thankful for thanksgiving to help my say all the things i want to tell people but get to scared to say for fear of rejection.
